Real Questions with... Sebastian Ingrosso

Listen to Sebastian Ingrosso on iHeartRadio

Having spent over a decade producing some of dance music's most addicting tunes, becoming the head of his own record label Refune, and making up one third of the most famous Swedish trio for the past couple of years, it is no surprise that Sebastian Ingrosso knows how to pack a dance floor. It's only been a few months since he took his final bow with Swedish House Mafia, but what is next for Sebastian?

He just released his latest single "Reload," and the Swedish producer/DJ tells iHeartRadio that fans can expect more new music soon, including a track with Axwell. And when asked about the possibility of an album, he says "That will be my dream but the only problem is time. Time is my enemy right now. I will never promise an album because I don’t want to over promise and under deliver; I want to do the opposite. I want to under promise and over deliver."

Sebastian has kicked off his Ibiza residency with Axwell, called "Departures," which he promises to be "a magical evening" with tons of special effects, making for a unique and unforgettable experience. Fans can also catch him this year at Electric Zoo, Tomorrowland, TomorrowWorld, Creamfields, and his residency at Light in Las Vegas.

While at iHeartRadio, Sebastian was put in the hot seat for an up-close-and-personal look into his life. Get the dirty on Sebastian Ingrosso in Real Questions below.

How often do you shower?

Every day at least one time a day.

Who is the most famous person in your phone?

Usher

Have you ever loaded a weapon?

Never touched a weapon actually in my life.

What’s the last illegal thing you did?

Driving without a drivers licence in Sweden actually.

What’s the longest you’ve ever stayed awake?

Three days.

Do you steal from hotels?

No, I don’t like stuff at hotels. They’re not so good.

Have you ever been fired?

Yes. From my uncle’s restaurant. I was working the kitchen, and I kind of ate at the same time I was working. So he was just like "hey, what are you doing?" I’m happy I got fired.

What’s the last thing that really pissed you off?

It was actually this morning. I rented a place in Ibiza and they sent me the pictures and I paid for it. And then they said it was the wrong pictures. I’m moving there in a week.

What’s your biggest regret?

To not use ear plugs earlier because my ears are a little bit bad now. Like you know tinnitus in both ears and it’s really bad.

What do you hate about Americans?

I don’t hate anything about Americans. And I personally don’t know the history and culture that well to hate. I don’t like to hate, I see more positive things here.

What do you waste time on?

Instagram.

Have you ever peed your pants?

I guess when I was a kid many times.

Have you ever broken a heart?

Yes.

Do you fart in front of your wife?

Absolutely not. Because I don’t want her to fart in front of me, it’s very simple.

What’s the most ridiculous thing that you’ve ever spent money on?

The most ridiculous thing I spent money on, I guess, is a lot of alcohol. It’s just like, that’s ridiculous to think of it. It's like you go "I want a bottle of champagne," and it's like $4,000. That’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve spent my money on.

Why did Swedish House Mafia really break up?

The truth, like we’ve said for everyone, I mean, we live in different times zones and we became very big. And when you become very big you need to commit to record companies, commit to delivering singles, commit to being in music videos, commit to all of these things and we couldn’t find a way to commit properly together.

Do you miss it, even though it's only been a few months?

No, I miss the arenas though. But I’ll be back for sure.

Who were you closer to Axwell or Steve?

Axwell.

Which pop star makes you shake your head?

I think one of them is Pitbull. I can’t really understand his songs
