Taylor Swift will be among the honorees at this year's Nashville Songwriters Association International awards ceremony this weekend, and she'll be setting a new record in the process.
Nashville's "Tennessean" says the country-pop singer-songwriter will be named Songwriter/Artist of the Year at the upcoming event, marking her sixth time taking the award.
While the 23-year-old performer already holds the record as the youngest artist to earn the title, with this year's event she'll also set the record the most titles. Taylor had been tied with Alan Jackson and Vince Gill, who have each received the NSAI Songwriter/Artist of the Year award five times.
The NSAI's 2013 Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame Dinner and Induction Ceremony will take place in Nashville on Sunday.
