Lorde is pulling out of some of her commitments down under to make room in her schedule for fans in the U.S. She's cancelled her appearance at an Australian music festival, and a rep is telling RipToIt.com that it's due to the rapidly growing demand for more stateside dates.
The rep says Lorde is "under a lot of pressure" to visit fans in other countries now that she's "becoming one of the biggest and buzziest artists in the world right now."
Lorde announced a 16-date North American tour back in December, which sold out in weeks even before her two big Grammy wins last month. The tour is set to kick off on March 3rd in Austin.
